POWER BALLS

INGREDIENTS:

3 bananas

2 cups organic rolled oats

2 tbps chia seed

2 tbsp hemp seeds

1 tsp vanilla or almond extract

1 tbps organic honey

2 tsp cinnamon

¼ pumpkin &/or sunflower seeds

Optional add 2 cups berries (frozen or fresh/ raspberries, black berries &/or blueberries) 

DIRECTIONS:

Preheat oven to 375 degrees.  Peel and mash bananas in a large bowl.  Add oats to bowl and mix together well, and then add chia seed, hemp seeds and pumpkin/sunflower seeds mixing as you add them to disperse them well.  Next add vanilla or almond extract, honey and cinnamon, mix well.  Finally add fresh or frozen berries so they are a little mushy and well mixed into the batter.  On a greased cookie sheet place 1 tbsp size balls, should yield about 30 balls or you can mash flat into a baking dish. 

Bake them for about 15 minutes or until browning on the top. 

Enjoy warm or freeze to preserve freshness. 

*I would suggest that they be refrigerated after 1 day to preserve freshness.
